Our Lovely Guest Reviewers

Steph W.

Reading romance novels has always been a guilty pleasure for me. I began reading romance novel as a teenager (Oh yeah, haha, too young?) but always behind my parent’s back (sorry mom and dad!). As a bilingual, I started with Chinese romance novels and thoroughly enjoyed them, I still read them to this day.
My love for romance novels continues today, but I didn’t start reading English romance novels until Fifty Shades of Grey after a friend recommended it to me. English is my second language, so it took me a while to learn English and start reading for fun. I never thought I would or could ever write a book review. But, I was really compelled by Sydney Jamesson’s book that I wrote my first review for her. So, I guess, Sydney (Ayden & Beth) are my first!
Some of my favorite romance novels I have read are Gabriel’s Inferno Series by Sylvain Reynard, The Story of Us Trilogy by Sydney Jamesson, All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness, and of course Fifty Shades of Grey by EL James.
The other genre that I read is non-fiction: science & medicine.
Steph currently resides in Seattle, she drives by Escala on ocassion in hopes she’ll bump into Christian grey.

My name is Nicole and I live in a small town in Sw Missouri. I am a stay at home mom of 3 beautiful children, have a fabulous husband that I run a Karate school with….and I am a total book addict!!!
It started when I was little, my mom would find me with my flash light under the blanket reading into wee hours of the night! As a teenager I started sneaking my moms romance novels, up until then I read mystery and suspense but after my first Nora Roberts and Suzanne Brockman I needed more LOL!
I have read at least 5 or 6 books a month for most of my life, a lot.of times more! Every year for Christmas I’d receive Barnes and Noble cards and be in hog heaven! Then I got my first Nook and discovered the world of Ebooks!!! I am highly addicted to Jennifer Armentrout, Tammara Webber, Abbi Glines, Jamie MacGuire,.E.L. James…just to name.a few!
I have over 500 books on my Nook and 4 floor to ceiling bookshelves, crammed full! I love, LOVE the way you can lose yourself in a story and the world around you melts away! My husband started reading all my favorite books, which has cost him some serious ribbing and cheap shots from the guys at work, but when he joins in a conversation and mentions to some of the ladies the book boyfriends their eyes glaze over LOL!
